Before + After: Hiding Toys and Taking Back the Family Room

Keeping the Toys in Your Family Room at Bay

The overall goal of this project was to allow for kids to have toys in the main living space without taking away too much from the grown up put together feel. It is completely understandable that some kids toys should be kept in the room that is used most often. By putting a little intention into the furniture choices and decor in the room, we worked with this client to hide many of to toys.

We purchased two new bookcases to shelve the toys and utilized baskets that were already in the home. A few totes were purchased to also contain some of the toys.
