Before + After: Sisters Growing into New Bedrooms

Rearranging sleeping situations in your household could result more utilized space, much like this client!

Our client decided to transition her two daughters from separate bedrooms (one was nursery) into one shared bedroom and a playroom. We redesigned both closets - the bedroom closet now contains both sisters’ clothing, while the playroom closet holds toys and their American Girl Doll collections.

We transformed the existing changing table into a desk for the older sister, and did a major decluttering session on both rooms!

We chose new furniture and decor pieces for both rooms. In the bedroom we chose matching beds with new bedding, and a new rug! The playroom also received new storage units for books and toys, and a rug for them to play on in there as well.

Project Breakdown

  • Products: $1180 (new bed, bedding, additional closet shelving, bookcase, toy storage, and misc)

  • 3 organizers for 8 hours

  • 1 handyman for 5.5 hours to assemble furniture
