New to sustainable home swaps? Cleaning products are a great way to get started. We highlighted a few of our favorite planet friendly cleaning solutions, but you can also make your own! My favorite counter spray is made from distilled vinegar, water, and a few drops of my favorite essential oils. I also make a room spray by combining water with a few drops of witch hazel and essential oils - it’s an affordable and easy way to make sure your home always smells great! And you can swap out the scents each season. Be sure to use scrub brushes or sponges in a natural, compostable material. Try storing leftovers in reusable glass jars instead of single use plastic bags or saran wrap.
