As always, we recommend starting by decluttering this space. When you have your items pared down to what you are keeping, then take inventory and see if you may need to buy something to help keep it all organized!
A label maker is key - we use ours all the time! Velcro strips are a great alternative to using nails to hang art. A simple metal storage rack allows you to utilize the vertical space in a garage or storage closet, and so does a wall-mounted broom holder! Museum putty or gel is a wonderful way to keep items from moving around - use a little underneath your drawer inserts to keep them from sliding around when you open and close drawers, or add a little behind paintings and photos to keep them straight! We love a bin for easy storage of sports balls or other bulky items.
