SEPT: MISSING MOTIVATION TO MAINTAIN

Dear Elsa, Every year, as fall approaches, I resolve to "get organized" and stock up on the cutest bins and baskets I can find, but nothing ever sticks. I lose motivation when considering all the work involved. What are easy and realistic changes I can make to get organized for fall but won't have me abandoning by Christmas?

JUN: SUMMER SOLUTIONS

Dear Elsa, Every summer my yard becomes a mess of toys, towels, shoes, and many LaCroix cans. Are there practical and family friendly storage solutions for yards, or pool patios that are better looking than a plastic lidded tote? I want our toys and gear to remain accessible but unsure how to incorporate in a cool way. At the end of the day, I'd love for the toys to be stored away and allow the patio to remain functional for mealtimes.

JUL: CAR CHAOS

Dear Elsa, After a few weeks summering around the state with the teenagers and a dog, the car is pure chaos. From sporting practices to beaches, the small space feels even more cramped and uninviting with 3 people's supplies and clutter.

Aside from sand and dirt, there are napkins and take out utensils in every nook and cranny…

Sincerely,
CAR CHAOS

AUG: BACK IN THE ROUTINE

Dear Elsa, We're slowly getting back into routine this fall. After taking 2020 off, and celebrating a vaccinated summer, things are feeling a little rusty with regards to daily structure, chore share, and communication.

I want our family to thrive by setting up smart schedules, prepping for their day ahead, and planning for their meal, school, or sport needs…
