As we near the end of pride month, I wanted to highlight some of my favorite queer owned local businesses. As you all know, shopping small and shopping local is so important. Plus, small businesses tend to be incredibly focused on their sustainability practices and use the best natural, clean ingredients. Many of these highlighted shops are women or BIPOC owned as well. You’ll find a little bit of everything in this list, I hope there’s something you love!
Women owned, this shop tailors room sprays, teas, and blends just to your liking. You can create your own, or you can choose from their pre-made creations such as their Zodiac smoking blends based on your personal astrological sign. Everything has clean ingredients .
Akashic uses natural vegan ingredients in their lotions, scrubs, and candles! I love this scent of lavender, peppermint, and eucalyptus!
Do you ever wish your homemade vodka sodas had a bit more pizazz? Well how about trying Ving Vodka’s canned cocktails. They’re easy for parties, have 7.1% alcohol, are made from corn, and are infused with lemon, cucumber, and kale! You can buy their vodka solo without the soda too! MORE FOOD! If you’ve got dietary restrictions and you haven’t tried Superbloom’s bread, you should. It’s gluten free AND vegan AND delicious. The ingredients are all super clean and mostly millet and rice based.
